卒業後は大阪の通販カタログ制作会社に入社。ファッションカタログをメインにエディトリアルデザイナーとして4年働きました。モデルのキャスティングや撮影ディレクションなどにも関わり、楽しい仕事でした。（2001〜2005）
更なるスキルアップのために東京のデザイン事務所に転職。スポーツメーカーの雑誌広告をメインに、カタログ、ロゴ、チラシなど様々なグラフィック制作に関わりました。246沿いをよく夜中にタクシーで帰宅した記憶が…。3年間猛烈に働きました。（2006〜2009）
退職後、NYに英語とデザインを学ぶべく1年留学。SVAでデザイン講座を受講したり、The art students league のミクストメディアクラスでキャンバスに向かったりしておりました。振り返ってみると、お金は無かったけど贅沢な時間を過ごしていたと思います。ちなみに英語はあまり身に付かず…。（2009〜2010）
帰国後はchankae名義でNYのメトロカードをリユースしたアクセサリー制作をスタート。当初は催事や委託販売を中心に活動しておりましたが、現在は自身のオンラインストアをメインに活動しております。メトロカードアクセサリーに限らず、ボタン、くみひも、アクリル板など、様々な素材・表現でアクセサリーを展開。オリジナル什器のミラーハンガーなんかもあります。ありそうで無かったもの、ユーモアを大事に自分の表現を追求する場として活動を続けております。（2011〜）

アクセサリーを作る傍ら、グラフィックデザイナーとしてもう一度働きたいと思い、商業施設のインハウスデザイナーとして3年半勤務。ポスターやチラシ、サイネージ、ウェブバナーなど、館内の様々なグラフィックを担当させていただきました。その中でも店舗限定のブックカバーやトレカをデザインする仕事は凄く楽しかった思い出が。（2019〜2022）
インハウスデザイナーを退職し、2023年よりフリーランスデザイナーとしてPerch Branch Design を立ち上げました。自分の経験を糧に、豊かなコミュニケーションツールとなるデザインを提案していきたいと考えています。

After graduation, I joined a catalog production company in Osaka. I worked as an editorial designer mainly for fashion catalogs for four years. I was involved in model casting, photoshoot direction, and other aspects, and it was a fun job. (2001-2005)
To further enhance my skills, I transferred to a design firm in Tokyo. I worked on various graphic projects, including catalogs, logos, and flyers, with a focus on sports brand magazine advertisements. I vividly remember taking taxis along Route 246 late at night to get home. I worked intensely for three years. (2006-2009)
After leaving the job, I spent a year studying English and design in New York. I took design courses at SVA and worked on canvas in the Mixed Media class at The Art Students League. Looking back, I didn't have much money, but I had a luxurious time. By the way, my English skills didn't improve much... (2009-2010)
Upon returning to Japan, I started creating accessories under the name "chankae" using recycled New York MetroCards. Initially, I mainly participated in events and consignment sales, but now I mainly operate my own online store. I create accessories using various materials and expressions, including buttons, Japanese traditional cords, and acrylic boards. I also have original mirror hangers. I continue my activities, valuing things that are seemingly ordinary yet unique and pursuing my own expressions with a sense of humor. (2011-)

While creating accessories, I also wanted to work as a graphic designer again. I worked as an in-house designer for a commercial facility for three and a half years. I was responsible for various graphics within the facility, including posters, flyers, signage, and web banners. I have fond memories of designing store-exclusive book covers and trading cards. (2019-2022)
After leaving the position as an in-house designer, I launched Perch Branch Design as a freelance designer starting from 2023. I would like to use my experience to propose designs that serve as rich communication tools.
